Athens music Week

About AMW

Athens Music Weeks was founded in 2018, their vision was the be a one of a kind and offer cultural and musical experiences to fans. They organize an international Festival and a Conference, over 7 consequent days. Designed with a focus towards the needs of upcoming artists, independent promoters, music industry experts, and entrepreneurs from South-Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean & the Balkan regions, Athens Music Week is an alternative destination, where music fans can interact with upcoming bands, and grass-root talent can seek assistance in a broad range of music business-related matters.

The design

The re-design needed to be bold, modern and exciting. The colour palette was taken from the theme using dark blues and a vibrant red for focal points and call to actions. We used graphical elements to elevate the brand identity. The use of infographics were used throughout the site as supporting visuals along with minimal shapes and patterns for backgrounds.

The website combined videos and imagery to engage the viewers and provide a sense excitement as you would at a festival. The A to B journey was just as important as the aesthetics of the design, making sure the journeys of the site was improved and easy to navigate through.

Our improved design and styling was constantly carried across the website, from ticket pages to member areas. Q&A was thoroughly checked across the different platforms from mobile devices to desktop, enabling a responsive and clean site.

We continued to consider how the branding and UI styling would flow across different modules for each page, carrying across the styling throughout.
